New Year’s Resolutions!

In the fitness industry this is time when we normally see:

-The sudden surge of gym newcomers

– Increase in those starting new diets or aiming to give up alcohol for a month

– Promises that “this year will be the year!”

– People buying new fitness technology gadgets or DVD homeworkouts 

Does any of this sound familiar to you?

Sticking with health and fitness goals, how do we decide whether or not we want to make a new year’s resolution. Why not just call it a goal instead, which can take away the pressure of the term resolution?

 However if you decide to make a fitness related resolution, how do we go about figuring out an attainable goal?
