Overcome the post holiday and World Cup blues

Over the past week I’ve noticed the gym has become very quiet especially during the usual peak times!

Discussing this with a client we came to the conclusion that this could be a number of things:

  • Post World Cup Blues
  • People on their summer holidays
  • People back from their summer holiday but struggling to get back into the gym
  • People sacking off the gym as they’ve not reached their summer physique targets

I’m sure there are other potential reasons for the sudden drop in gym traffic however this has inspired my blog topic today.

It’s not often I would do this but today’s topic is a previous blog I wrote in March 2017 titled Healthy Lifestyle Habits.

This blog essential outlines a number of techniques we can use to create habits so that whenever our motivation lacks we can still maintain our focus and momentum to whatever our health and fitness goal is. It’s one of my favourite blogs, and definitely worth taking a few minutes to digest.
